Flowback Operator/Well Tester

Overview

Our Client is current looking for experienced Well Testers/Flowback Operators for SW Appalachia ops in WV/PA operating area. 70% of operations will be less than 1.25hrs from Morgantown WV northward and less then 1hr east or southward from Wheeling WV.


Responsibilities

Minimum of 4 level 3 or 4 WT operators who will rotate 14 on 14 off day schedule and live in WV area and work on-a rotating schedule with others. 

Operator Requirements:

WT Operator 3: understanding/awareness of condensate, wet gas, dry gas, NGL (natural gas liquids) facilities.  Rig up and operate plug catcher during completion CFP drill-out ops after frac. 

-rig up and rig down, maint. Plug valves, Understand pressure, change choke seat and stem in manifold. - strap tanks using color kut. Transferring fluids, emailing hourly reports  follow procedures with good attitude 

 

 

WT operator 4: 

worked in multiple shale plays and areas of flowback. Equipment specs, pressure ratings, equipment maintenance best practices . - capable of taking direction and taking charge of rig up and start of completion drill-out, production flow back, explain and teach short service employees and others. - trust and comfort to operate test separator, line heater, stabilizer, GPU, meter box and discuss problems with engineers.

$45 day per diem 

$100.00 a day for lodging if the location is over 1 hr 15 minutes from home.

Drilling Fluids Specialist

USA-Louisiana-Lafayette Contract
Overview

New Tech Global Staffing is urgently seeking Offshore Drilling Fluids Specialists DFS).  This is an offshore position with an oil & gas client in Lafayette, LA.  The DFS provides onsite services associated with measuring and testing the drilling fluids and supervising the mixing and pumping operations.  The DFS must achieve an intermediate to advanced level of knowledge in order to safely and efficiently support all website operations relevant to managing the drilling fluids system.  The work is on even rotation (14 days on x 14 days off) with 12 hours / day shifts. 

 


Responsibilities
  • Maintaining all fluid properties as specified by operator
  • Reviews fluids program in order to prepare orders and mixing plans.
  • Managing all operations, and coaching/mentoring less experienced personnel on-the-job.
    Writes procedures for mixing and handling of products.
  • Gathers samples and performs tests to determine trends and identify contaminants.
  • Records test results to identify trends and offer suggestions on solutions.
  • Determines cause of fluid, hole, or system problems to assist in treatment recommendation.
  • Determines chemical treatments required to optimize drilling parameters.
  • Advises clients on potential treatments or improvements to the fluid system based on data analysis and mud testing.
  • Recommends solids-control processes to ensure economic removal.
  • Supervises rig personnel performing chemical additions and recording drilling fluid parameters.
  • Manages product inventory to ensure availability.
  • Maintains required environmental discharge and consumption records.
  • Maintaining accurate daily reports, customer paperwork, chemical concentrations and safety documents
  • Make recommendations to address hole cleaning issues or lost circulation events, and is capable of managing the drilling fluids system during well control conditions.

Qualifications
  • Must possess 3+ years of related oilfield experience
  • Equivalent military technical training considered.  
  • Must have an in-depth understanding of the drilling fluids system chemistry, and is capable of properly testing and maintaining the properties of the drilling fluids system without supervision

Directional Driller

Overview

 The Directional Driller Speciallist (DD Specialist) performs directional drilling services. The Lead DD plans, executes, and manages all phases of a directional drilling job to deliver services that meet client expectations and D&M standards. He/she also provides technical support to clients and other D&M crew members at the wellsite. The DD Specialist is partially responsible for the training and development of any subordinate while at the wellsite.

Is responsible for the management, training and development of second engineers and trainees at well site.

Project Scientist: Remediation & Site Closure

Overview

NTG Environmental is looking to fill a Project Scientist position in its Midland, TX office.  The ideal candidate will have 3+years of Phase I & II Environmental Site Assessment and remediation experience in midstream and/or upstream oil and gas.  Working knowledge of RRC, TCEQ, and NMOCD regulations pertaining to the reporting and subsequent cleanup of petroleum hydrocarbon and produced water releases desired.


Responsibilities
  • Perform field inspections of upstream oil and gas sites to obtain SPCC, air, and due diligence information.  Field inspections frequently require overnight travel and work in varying weather conditions.
  • Collect soil and water samples following standard operating procedures and interpret analytical data to develop and implement remediation options.
  • Provide spill response and remedial action oversight on projects of varying sizes.
  • Assist client with agency negotiations by providing technical resources and supporting the client’s regulatory compliance efforts.
  • Gather, compile, and present data, as a project team member or independently under supervision, for review by the Project Manager.
  • Generates assigned portions of project reports or other deliverables, subject to review and approval by the Project Manager, for submittal to a client and/or regulatory agency.  A project report interprets the applicability of complex environmental regulations to the project, and then tailors any proposed remedial measures necessary to promote regulatory compliance within the scope of the project and client constraints.

Our client is a leading supplier with manufacturing facilities spanning four continents, and a sales and distribution network covering 40 countries, they provide worldwide service to the oil and gas, chemical and industrial, marine, offshore, fuel handling and mining industries.


Responsibilities

The ideal candidate must be flexible to work day or night shift. Night shift pays shift differential of .50 hourly.

 

The Winder Operator Helper provides assistance in the operation of filament winding equipment
as part of a winding crew that manufactures pipe, including help with fiber glass creel stock, resin mixing, dispensing, and pulling pipe off mandrels and finishing operations

Assist with installation of mandrels onto winding equipment.
Assist construct corrosion barrier by contact molding process.
Uses air rollers to remove possible entrapped air from corrosion barrier laminate.
Required to work with epoxy resins, polyester and vinyl ester resins, and associated promotion and catalyst chemicals.
Also required to be certified in the use of a full-face respirator as well as other required Personal Protective Equipment. Certification provided by the company.
Required to wear company provided PPE while working in an area using regulated chemicals.
Ties continuous fiber glass roving onto mandrel for pipe winding operation.
Squeegees excess resin off reinforced pipe wall. This can be a manual operation at times.
Pulls pipe off mandrel using overhead monorail cranes and electric hoists.
Assist with re-stock of fiber glass creel.
Assist with finishing of pipe by utilizing pipe grinding machinery.
Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

May be required to work up to a 12 hour shift and must be able to work OT when requested.
Must have safe working attitude.
Ability to lift up to 50lbs, ability to reach, push, pull, stoop, and work in a non-climate controlled factory.
Basic math skills. Ability to read measuring tape and to use measuring scales.
Able to work as part of a crew with some supervision and able to work well with others.
